Radboud Oomens

A pupil of the renowned Dutch violinist Herman Krebbers and multiple prizewinner at international competitions, he became, at the age of 19, concertmaster of the orchestras of Arnhem (Netherlands) and Heilbronn (Germany), before joining the NDR Symphony Orchestra in Hamburg as first violinist.
Over the course of his career, he became a distinguished chamber musician.
It was Helga Thoene who inspired him to undertake the project of performing the sonatas for solo violin accompanied by singers — the famous “Sei solo a violino”, which he studied for many years.

Radboud played for many years on a Nicola Amati violin (1650), which he eventually made available to young talents.
He currently performs on a baroque-mounted violin made by Alain Carbonare in 2017 in Mirecourt.

Géraldine Jeannot

Trained at the conservatories of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, she perfected her art under the guidance of artists such as Philippe Jaroussky, Claire Lefilliâtre, and Stéphane Fuget.
In addition to her operatic roles, she regularly performs as a soloist with various ensembles in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
In 2020, she co-founded the ensemble Musica ex Anima, specializing in Baroque and Renaissance music.

Maximin Marchand

An actor, graduate of the ERACM, and countertenor trained at the Conservatory of Aix-en-Provence.
After seven years with Yves Beaunesne’s company (Le Cid, Ruy Blas, Tartuffe), he has since collaborated with numerous ensembles and institutions, including the Opéra d’Avignon, Les Voix Animées, Les Éléments, Musica ex Anima, L’Archivolte, Le Songe du Roi, the Maîtrise des Bouches-du-Rhône, the Chœur du Luberon, and the composer Camille Rocailleux.

François Isserel-Savary

A self-taught singer, he began as a chorister and became familiar with vocal technique early on through his participation in vocal ensembles in Brest, Paris, and Provence.
He later specialized as a light tenor / haute-contre.
In 2015, he joined Monique Zanetti’s Baroque singing class at the Conservatory of Aix-en-Provence, and since 2016, he has been refining his operatic technique under the guidance of soprano Brigitte Peyré.

Johan Riphagen

Conductor, trained in The Hague with Ed Spanjaard, in Barcelona with Antoni Ros-Marbà, and in Munich with Sergiu Celibidache.
As a composer, he has written for various film and theatre projects, as well as for symphonic, choral, and chamber ensembles.
Several of his works have been recorded and released on Emergo Classics.
He is the musical director of the Chœur du Luberon and a passionate interpreter of J. S. Bach’s works, many of which he has conducted in concert.
He has studied the research of Helga Thoene and created the arrangements for this project based on her findings.
